Ridge High School Counseling Department

NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS
  • Class of 2019:  Senior Packet Part A materials are available on the College Documents and Downloads page.  They were due on June 1.  Part B, which is to be handed in when school begins, is due September 20 and can also be downloaded from that page.

  • Class of 2019 Senior Mechanics Presentation (for students ONLY):  All seniors will meet with their school counselor in large groups on September 12th to discuss specific mechanics for applying to college.  The presentation will cover specific technicalities of applying, important timelines and deadlines, and information about the overall college admissions process.  During September, school counselors will then meet with students individually for their senior meeting for individualized support and guidance.  These meetings will occur by appointment.
  • Senior Presentation for Families:  All senior parents and guardians are invited to the Senior Presentation for Families on September 13th or 26th from 7-9pm in the PAC.  This presentation will mirror the Senior Mechanics presentation for students, and will provide families the opportunity to learn more about navigating the college admissions season!  Please join us!  If you cannot attend, the material is available under "Presentations".  Both sessions are the same content, it is unnecessary to come to both.
  • Financial Aid Information Night for Families:  This presentation is hosted by Bernards High School and open for Ridge High School students and parents to attend.  The location will be at the Bernards High School PAC on October 8th from 7-9pm.  *This event was previously publicized for September 19th but has been rescheduled due to the holiday conflict.
  • Annual College Fair: The annual College Fair, featuring numerous colleges/universities from around the country will occur on October 11th from 7-9pm at Ridge High School.  Please join us for this exciting event, and meet directly with admissions representatives!  Bernards High School families are welcome to attend.
